The Mercado de Artesanías in San Miguel de Allende is a great place to find unique souvenirs and handicrafts. The market is located on Calle Relox and is open daily from 10am to 7pm. Prices vary depending on the item, but bargaining is common and expected.
Unfortunately, I was not able to find an official website for the market.
If you're looking for other things to do in the area, there are plenty of options. The Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel is a beautiful church located in the main square of the town and is definitely worth a visit. The church is open daily from 7am to 8pm.
Another great spot to check out is the Jardín Botánico El Charco del Ingenio, a botanical garden and nature reserve located just outside of town. The garden is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9am to 5pm.
Finally, the Fabrica La Aurora is a former textile factory that has been converted into an art and design center. The center is home to numerous galleries, shops, and restaurants and is open daily from 10am to 6pm.
